Nature/Nurture

Vibrations in matter

present in forms

From the macrocosm

to the microcosm

Reminding us of our

Source, an innate

intelligence,

transcending toward

omniscient

in the field of forever...

Swarms, in spirals

we merry go round the

galaxy,

& as we traverse space

On this sacred blue sphere

We call here in this place

Planet Earth, Gaia, Terra,

with one satellite moon,

circling

13 times round

per annual cycle

We spin

Around our star-

The reason we exist and

Are who and what we are.

By forming a planetary system,

We exist, in a fragile, beautiful ecosystem

Which can sustain a great deal of life

Yet, humankind have wrought

wanton destruction and death

Without a reverence for life

What should we nurture,

What is in our nature?

That celebrates and

Honors all walks of

our collective life?

The clarion call

Before All

Is to finally envision

And see

What the collective We

Reason for being

would be...

A diversity of lifeforms

in a biospheric entity,

comprised of varying degrees of entities

From kingdoms of elementals

Minerals, and sentient species

Through out the infinities.

All of life,

all that is in this now,

of the cosmology,

of all beings

within beings

nested in ways

humanity has yet to

understand how to see

Is a republic of one

Planetary entity

And humankind

Only one race of species

What do we nurture?

That part of our nature

That knows we belong

To a greater being

And begin seeing

Why we should begin

To make reparations

So that our future lifetimes

in all forms might reap

the benefits of a more

hospitable home

Who cares?

I believe 

in a world 

where all beings 

born into life, 

come into 

an existence 

where all 

co-exist 

in harmony, 

and 

where our 

collective life 

flourishes 

in peace 

and 

prosperity. 

We could 

very well 

manifest 

this 

future potential 

for all 

living things 

if we 

would but see 

that all 

is ourself. 

As a witness 

to 

our own life, 

wouldn't all life 

want life 

to be 

the most 

beautiful 

and 

lasting 

goodness? 

 That world 

is 

here, 

that beauty 

and 

that goodness 

is now. 

Yet, 

humanity has 

desecrated life- 

has polluted it, 

poisoned it, 

bombed it, 

hunted it, 

poached it, 

clear-cut it, 

irridiated it, 

genetically 

mutilated it, 

tortured it, 

vivisectioned it

 and we 

continually 

lay waste to life 

without reverence, 

without consciousness, 

without love. 

 We live 

out our lives 

as products 

of a 

society 

that accepts 

cultural memes 

and 

traditions 

mindlessly 

and 

at the 

detriment 

of others 

without 

understanding 

that the 

whole

 is 

inseparably linked 

to the part. 

We are 

capable 

of 

so 

much 

more, 

we could 

have 

such 

a 

better 

world, 

a better life.

as if

Truth of the Matter

all forms 

of matter 

are but 

variances 

variances in 

number 

and 

formulae 

within

atomic structure 

and 

genome sub strata

vibration

and

volumes

within the

differences

there also

is

similarity

this

motion

follows its own

sacred level of

devotion

the miracle

of this

may be lost

on many

of mankind

yet, 

there are those 

few

who

do...

see what 

lies beyond

appearances

of

this thing

or that

and when 

we 

grasp this

great and 

glorious

truth

of 

"the matter"

when we

change how 

we see

what we 

see

changes us...
